Weatherford FUMC actively participates in United Methodist Women.
The organization unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Membership shall be open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church through United Methodist Women.
Weatherford FUMC has two circles of United Methodist Women: Dorcas and Frances Good.
The Dorcas Circle meets the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30 PM in the Church Parlor.
The Frances Good Circle meets on the second Thursday evening of each month at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Laci Stickler and Bridgett Sims gave a program on Trauma at the January meeting of Frances Good. If you missed the program and would like to listen, [Click Here]. If you would like to look at the handouts, [Click Here].
