Youth Ministry

Youth are the Heart and the Future of the church.

Students in 6th – 12th grades looking for a fun, inviting place to worship and learn about God have found the right place! Youth ministry at Weatherford FUMC connects teens to create authentic relationships with each other while strengthening their faith in God.

Ways we join in Christian discipleship are through Sunday School and Wednesday and Sunday evening devotions. Throughout the year we participate in fun activities and missions – pictures from some of these activities can be found on our Youth Photo Page. Every summer our youth attend CLUE at Canyon Camp and Youth Force.

Sunday School is at 9:30AM each week.

  • Jr. High youth (6th-8th) meet in Room 26
  • Sr. High youth (9th-12th) meet in the youth lounge

During the regular school year:

Sunday evening activities (all youth) begin at 4:30PM. We have a variety of activities including game nights, destination unknown, and missions. Missions involve making blankets for foster children and going to Brookdale to play games and visit with residents.

Wednesday evening activities (all youth) starts with WOW – Worship On Wednesday at 6:00PM in the Sanctuary and is followed by Bible study at 6:30PM in the junior high room.
